Abeokuta South Local Government’s Chairmanship Aspirant, Honourable Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi (HOAM) has identified engagement of the council’s teeming youths in the entertainment and sports industries as a panacea to youth restiveness and delinquencies.
Majekodunmi made the assertion in Abeokuta amidst the protracted insecurity that is ravaging the country.
Majekodunmi, in a statement signed by his media aide, Abdulrasheed Adelakun, and made available to newsheadline247, revealed he has always supported up and coming artistes in his own way by promoting them to attain their full potentials and fulfil promises in their chosen career.
He said he is ready to empower the Youth in Sports development by sponsoring a football competition in the coming days. The tourney will be tagged HOAM YOUTH CUP-2021
Majekodunmi who is also the Asiwaju Akinrogun of Egbaland commends all who have been doing their bits in supporting the youths in owning sports clubs and hosting competitions.
