The Olota of Ota, Oba Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege on Friday congratulated the entire Muslim community in Aworiland and Nigeria at large on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting.

According to a statement released and signed by the personal assistant and media aide to Olota of Ota, Prince Adeyemi Sulaimon Olusesi, the Olota of Ota urged all Muslims to put into practice the lessons of tolerance, forgiveness and love for neighbors that were learnt during the holy month of Ramadan.

The statement reads;

“The Olota of Ota, Oba(Prof.) Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege P.hD, MCIPR, MPRII, FHEA(LANLEGE EKUN II) congratulates all Muslim faithful in Aworiland and Nigeria at large on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting, climaxed with the Eid El-Fitr celebrations.

“Kabiyesi urged all Muslims to put into practice the lessons of tolerance, forgiveness and love for our neighbors that was learnt during Ramadan period to further reflect on our character and way of life in making sure that we live in peace and harmony because we are “Human being First” regardless of our ethnicity or differences.

“On the state of the nation, Kabiyesi urged Nigerians to be more patriotic while reminding us that our strength as a nation revolves around our diversities and we must do all we can to ensure that we jealously manage this diversity to build a prosperous nation we can all be proud of.

“Kabiyesi also charged Sons and Daughters of Ota and Aworiland most especially the “YOUTH” to always be at their best, exhibit right attitude to work and to do away from all vices that can tarnish the image of the ancient city of Ota and Aworiland as a whole.

“He prayed that Ota, Aworiland, Ogun State and Nigeria shall continue to witness more peace and development.”
