Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases top 25,000 as deaths records rise to 573

Nigeria’s total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is now 25,133 after it recorded new five hundred and sixty-six new coronavirus infection.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the figure on Monday.

NCDC said Lagos State recorded 166 cases, while Oyo State followed with 66 cases.

The diseases control centre, in its Tweet, further announced that the country now has a total of 573 deaths due to coronavirus complication.
