Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in the 2019 governorship candidate in Ogun State, on Saturday congratulated the Olota of Ota, Oba Professor Abdukabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, on the occasion of his first year anniversary on the throne of his forebears.

In a congratulatory statement made available to newsheadline247 in Abeokuta on Saturday, the revered politician praised the Monarch for the laudable strides he has achieved within the last twelve months in the saddle.

He said, “I use this medium to congratulate Oba Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege on this novel occasion. The last one year has been eventful and considering his pedigree and exposure, I am not surprised at how lofty he has acquitted himself on the throne”.

“He has been the chief ambassador, marketer and promoter of the interest of his people both within and outside Nigeria. Kabiyesi’s voice has been loud on the issues of physical development, economic growth, peace and security of his subjects and even Ogun State in whole”.

GNI as fondly called used the statement to reiterate the call for improved infrastructure in the area.

According to him, “Ota is a major economic hub of our state and the critical infrastructure deficit of the area must be an imperative for all and I believe this is the prime desire of his royal majesty and his subject; and to this, I perfectly align”.

“God to keep the Monarch and grant him many more years of active service to Ota-Aworiland and Ogun State in general,” Isiaka prayed in the statement.
