Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) Gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has vowed to fastrack significant development in Ado-Odo/Ota and other economic belts of the state, if elected governor in the forthcoming election.

Isiaka gave this assurance on Thursday in Ota during a rally, held to round up a three-day campaign tour of the local government area; his second in recent weeks.

Addressing a mammoth crowd in Igbo-Olori Square Ota, the ADC flagbearer vowed to pursue his 7 steps to abundance manifesto vigorously and by extension create a working environment for businesses to thrive.

According to the governorship hopeful, Ota which is regarded as the industrial hub of the State lacks adequate infrastructural development commensurate with its status as the biggest contributor to internally generated revenue in the State.

He described the local government as one with huge economic potential, assuring that his administration if elected would “leverage on all opportunities and possibities around Ota.”

His words “We have to bring significant development to Ota because of the huge possibilities here. It is one of the most important local governments in this state for many reasons. Also, because we border Lagos, we are going to be setting up a development vehicle called Border Towns Development Agency  to monitor and bring development to our border towns.”

“I am assuring you that our administration shall be committed to making Ota and all other major economic belts along Ifo, Sagamu, Obafemi-Owode great. We have already, a blueprint on how to achieve this and we shall hit the ground running.”

Speaking further, the two-time governorship candidate promised to give immediate attention to roads around Ado, Igbesa and Agbara axis within the first 30 days of his administration, if elected into office.

While soliciting the support of the Yewa/Awori people ahead of the forthcoming election, the governorship candidate urged them to reject platforms parading deputy governorship candidates from Ogun West. This, he said would not in anyway solve the various challenges and hardships facing the Senatorial district.

“This is injury time for the Ogun West -Yewa Awori people. Today, in Ogun west, I am that person that has the best chance of delivering to us what we want. I can say that in all honesty because I am the candidate with the requisite experience, independence and capability. All other candidates are being pushed but I am running my race independently”, he submitted.
