Achievements, experience, and reputation
Citing Prof. Gambari’s reputation for achievements in the many positions of responsibility he has occupied, Governor Abidoun said Gambari’s achievements, reputation and pedigree mark Gambari out as a square peg in a square hole.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and People of Ogun State, I congratulate Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari on his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR as the Chief of Staff to the President. The appointment could not have come at a better time, especially as the Nation fights a public health crisis,” the Governor stated.

“I am particularly delighted in President Buhari’s choice of Prof. Gambari, as I am certain that Nigeria and the people will enjoy the gains of the experience so far garnered by the Professor in the field.
“One cannot have much to say about Nigeria’s history of dealing with other countries, especially the United Nations and the Africa Union, without mentioning twice in a minute, Prof. Gambari’s name and achievements,” he went further.
Governor Abiodun prayed to the Almighty Allah (SWT) to bless Prof. Ibrahim Gambari with the divine wisdom to carry out his duties for the collective benefit of the Nigerian people.
Said Governor Abiodun: “I pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to bestow upon you the wisdom to advance the pursuance of the Change dream of Mr President, which is our collective vision for a greater Nigeria.”
