…after home defeat to Enyimba in Lagos

Sunshine Stars of Akure’s Chief Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, has asked for his team to be fortified with more quality players as the midway in the season of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) approaches.

Ogunbote made the call while talking to newsmen after his team lost to Enyimba FC 0-1 in their matchday-17-encounter at the Agege Township Stadium in Lagos.

He said, “The team must be beefed up, though my players are not bad but we still need a few quality players”. On their being banished to Lagos for two matches, Ogunbote said, “We should be ready to play anywhere and I just hope the level playing ground here should be obtainable everywhere”
