Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presidential election, Atiku Abubakar defeated President Muhammadu Buhari, at the polling unit of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state.

While Atiku secured 52 votes at the Femi Okunnu polling unit in Ikoyi, where Sanwo-Olu and his wife voted, Buhari got 48 votes.

But the president secured victory at the polling unit where Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the APC, who backed the candidature of Sanwo-Olu, voted.

While Buhari polled 121 votes there, his rival got 53 votes at unit 047, ward 3, Ikeja local government area, where Tinubu cast his ballot.
