It is all home wins for teams in the Nigeria Women Football League Week 8 as FC Robo Queens of Lagos walloped Dreamstar FC also of Lagos five goals to nil.
Rivers Angels whipped Royal Queens three nil while Nasarawa Amazons beat Osun Babas two-nil. The Confluence Queens of Edo State also beat Abia Angels with a solitary goal as Delta Queens thumped Edo Queens with one goal to nothing. In the last fixture of the round, Sunshine Queens of Akure massacred Pelican Stars four goals to one.
With the latest results from the last fixtures, Bayelsa Queens now top the table with twenty-one points after eight round of matches while Rivers Angels occupy the second spot with twenty points.
Delta Queens are third with sixteen points and FC Robo Queens are fourth with fifteen points.
The two teams in the basement of the log are Ibom Angels who can only boast of four points and Dreamstar Ladies with only three points out of a possible twenty-four points
At the end of the season, only the team that eventually top the table will represent the country at the newly introduced women version of the CAF Champions League
