In a swift reaction to the development, the management of Al-Yusuff Int’l called off a seminar set for prospective hajj pilgrims on Sunday.

Intending pilgrims for the 2021 Hajj exercise who have planned to travel to the holy land under the auspices of Al-Yusuff Int’l travels and tours ltd have been assured that their funds are safe following the restriction on foreign participants by the Saudi Arabia government due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chairman and Chief Executive of the travel and tours company, Alhaji  Abd Mojeed Oladele Yusuff, expressed this in a statement made available to newsheadline247 on Sunday.

“Prospective pilgrims should not fear about their funds,” Yusuff added that customers satisfaction is the topmost priority for the organization.

The government of Saudi Arabia had on Saturday announced that only those residing in the country will be allowed to perform the 2021 hajj due to the coronavirus new variant outbreak.

In a swift reaction to the development, the management of Al-Yusuff Int’l called off a seminar set for prospective hajj pilgrims on Sunday.

In the statement, Al-Yusuff Int’l said the cancellation of the seminar was due to the restriction on foreign intending pilgrims for the 2021 hajj exercise.

 “We regret to inform all pilgrims that today’s seminar has been cancelled due to the news on Hajj cancellation this year.

“We will update you with further information,” @alyusuffintl said.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that Hajj 1442 (2021) will be limited to local pilgrims and citizens of Saudi Arabia.

According to the ministry, the number of pilgrims allowed is totalling 60,000, for residents of all nationalities and citizens inside the Kingdom who have been vaccinated with 1 or 2 doses.

This is the second consecutive time Hajj will not hold for non-Saudi Arabia residents pilgrims since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
