Prince Femi Fadina, founder of Jethro Tourism Club, has lauded Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State on that appointment of Wale Ojo-Lanre as the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism Development.
Fadina, a tourism expert and Chief Executive, Dinat Consulting, in a chat with our correspondence, said Governor Fayemi has made a right choice by appointment Ojo-Lanre who is also a force to be reckoned with in the tourism industry.
“We want to thank the governor for making the right choice in this appointment, and by this, we intend to collaborate with the state on a youth development programme that is being supported by the federal government on tourism Jethro Club,” Fadina stated.
Ojo-Lanre was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism Development, having served as the Director-General of Ekiti State Council for Arts and Culture under the same administration.
The appointment and 44 others were announced by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode to the media on Monday.
Fadina, while congratulating Lanre-Ojo said his appointment will boost Ekiti State tourism programs of Governor Fayemi.
He said, “Lanre-Ojo’s wealth of experience both as a revered journalist and tourism expert will no doubt change the concept of development of tourism in Ekiti State. His unblemished string of successes as the Director-General of the State Council for Arts and Tourism speaks volume of his ability to deliver.”
He further stated that Jethro Club is set to work and contribute to the development of Nigeria’s tourism sector particularly states like Ekiti which has huge concentration on tourism development.
