Christians celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for mankind
Olujimi Agbaje, Lagos politician and two-time governorship candidate of the state, has said he prayed for Nigeria to “emerge from the tomb of corruption & mediocre/ lacklustre government.”
He stated this in a brief message to Christians as they celebrate Easter.
In his Easter message, Agbaje said the season gives Christians all over the world the privilege to celebrate the “sacrifice of Jesus Christ for mankind.”
The revered Nigerian Pharmacist expressed this in a post via his Facebook page.
The message reads; “At Easter, Christians celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for mankind by taking ALL sin upon himself. His rising from the dead renews our hope in the new life He gives.
“I pray that Nigeria will also emerge from the tomb of corruption & mediocre/ lack luster governments to join the community of transparent and vibrant governments.
“Happy Easter!”
