The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday confirmed 179 fresh infections of the coronavirus disease which brings the total number of active COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 12,984.
The NCDC made the confirmation on Tuesday night while giving updates on daily cases via its official website.
With the latest confirmed cases, the total number of recorded infections in the country to 161,074, with 2,018 deaths, while no fewer than 146,072 patients have been successfully treated and discharged.
