Emerging details from Benue State has it that Ugboju in Agatu is currently under severe attack by Fulani herdsmen.
It was gathered that the community has been taken over by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
According to reports, sources said the attack has forced many residents to desert their homes.
“As we speak now, Fulani herdsm\en have surrounded Ugboju community in Agatu LG area of Benue State, shooting sporadically and invading the land,” Ikwulono John Anthony, a Supervising Councilor in Agatu said Monday night.
“Those in authority and security men should take note and swing into action as a matter of urgency, please. I am equally informing the concerned authorities now as well,” the councilor added.
